This could mean that while you are out hiking you find a long branch that you can use as one of your hiking canes. People will pick up a hiking cane of their own when they are walking, and will usually toss it back into the woods as they finish their hike. The first thing is that the cane should be relatively tall, enough so that you can have it at your waist level and you can use it to help yourself walk. A great hiking cane would also have an area at the top that you could use as a handle which wouldn’t hurt your hand to hold on to.
